Written Reopening Safety Plan Requirement
In New York, a written reopening safety plan is required. The CDC for the rest of the country refers to a “plan”. Best that it is written. It does not have to be submitted anywhere for approval. New York actually has a Safe Plan Template that is available for your free download! Go to the NYS Department of Health website and type in NY Forward Safety Plan Template as a search term. The CDC advises to:
- Develop your plan
- Implement you plan and
- Maintain and revise your plan.
