While it is not required in any state, it is best to use certified medical coders for your insurance forms; either in-house or contracted out to a billing company. Besides tending to be more accurate, use of a certified biller shows you legitimate intention to be paid for your work in the obligatory fashion. Such intent can go a long way in settling or avoiding problems.
