Business Analyst
Business Analysts analyze requirements and solve information problems. They study EmPRO computer systems, design computer programs and recommend system protocols and controls to help EmPRO run more effectively and efficiently. They work with the business and information technology groups to understand their needs and limitations.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience with Malpractice insurance or Property/Casualty Insurance
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst. Experience with SQL and other report writing tools.
- Extensive experience with software applications, including Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with implementation of Insurance software Platform a plus.

Claims Assistant
The Claims Assistant is responsible for initial contact and creation of a claim file(s) for Physicians and Hospital Insureds. Assist assigned Claim Representative with all aspects of maintaining a claim file from inception to disposition/closing of file.

- High school degree and 3 years related office experience or 2-5 years related office experience required in the following areas; Hospital, MD office and/or insurance/legal or recent college graduate with some office experience

Claims Office Manager
The Claims Office Manager is primarily responsible for the management of administrative tasks and staff of the Claims Department. Expected to ensure efficient and consistent workflow of all support and administrative functions along with maintaining and providing administrative and analytical services to the Claims Department.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four-year college degree and/or minimum of five years supervisory experience in a professional business environment required; prior experience and/or supervision in insurance industry preferred

- At least 5 years of ceded reinsurance accounting experience.
- Experience managing reinsurance related collateral accounts (funds held, LOC, Reg 114 Trust, etc.)
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of statutory accounting and Statements of Standard Accounting Practices (“SSAPs”) is a requirement.
