David leads the Physicians’ Underwriting unit. With over 25 years of experience in Physician Underwriting and market development, he brings extensive expertise in risk evaluation, product expansion, and operational excellence. David has demonstrated outstanding leadership in elevating the Underwriting Department to a best-in-class standard at EmPRO. His strong leadership capabilities, commitment to mentoring staff, and exceptional relationships with insureds and brokers have contributed to EmPRO’s ongoing achievements.
David holds a B.A. from Queens College and an M.A. from the College of Staten Island, CUNY. He is an active member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and maintains a New York State Property & Casualty Broker’s License. He is also currently pursuing the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
