One-on-One Peer Support
When something goes wrong in medicine, such as an adverse event, a lawsuit, or even the fear of one, it can be deeply isolating. EmPRO’s Peer Support Program offers a confidential, judgment-free conversation with a fellow physician who understands, not just in theory but from lived experience.
This is not therapy, but a collegial conversation with a physician peer who has faced similar challenges and can support you in navigating their emotional and practical impact. EmPRO has trained peer supporters across most major medical specialties, so whenever possible you will be matched with a physician who understands the unique pressures and realities of your field. These conversations are confidential, discreet, and centered on you, your experience, your concerns, and your needs.
