When reviewing your employment contract, please take a look to see if your restrictive covenant includes every location of the practice, and not just the location that you primarily work in. In a multi-office practice that can make a huge difference. Also please see if the covenant also includes the hospitals next to the practice locations. These “details” can considerably change the scope of a restrictive covenant clause. I recommend you have an experienced health care attorney look it over before submitting.
