Physician Wellness: Physicians in Crisis

PRI is pleased to announce its April 18, 2019 Physician Discussion Group and CME Program at CAIPA headquarters in Flushing.

The program will open with Dr. Kovacs delivering a brief presentation with a focus upon burnout and litigation stress.

The Group will then have an Appreciative Inquiry experiential exercise intended to increase resilience in the physicians while working to combat burnout. A focus will be on exploring what brings meaning to practicing physicians.

All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Upon completion of this activity, you should be able to:

  1. State the three signs and symptoms of physician burnout.
  2. Understand the causes of physician burnout.
  3. Appreciate how to combat burnout.

Physicians’ Reciprocal Insurers designated this live activity
for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate
with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Interested physicians should call the PRI Education Department at 516-277-4326 for more information.
