CME Accreditation Statement: EmPRO is accredited by The Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. EmPRO designates this enduring material for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Policy on Disclosure of Commercial Support: The ACCME defines “commercial interest” as any entity producing, marketing, re-selling, or distributing health care goods or services, used on, or consumed by, patients.
EmPRO does not accept commercial support from any commercial interest for CME activities including this activity.
Policy on Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: EmPRO assesses all individuals involved with content development, planning, and management for conflicts of interest. Should any conflicts of interest be identified, they will be resolved prior to commencement of the activity. All faculty and content collaborators responsible for creating and distributing this program have no relevant financial relationships or conflicts to disclose.
Policy on Disclosure of Relevant Financial Relationships: The ACCME focuses on financial relationships with commercial interests in the 12-month period preceding the time that the individual is being asked to assume a role controlling content of the CME activity. The ACCME defines “relevant financial relationships” as financial relationships in any amount occurring within the past 12 months that create a conflict of interest.
The planners and faculty participants do not have any financial arrangements or affiliations with any commercial entities whose
products, research or services may be discussed in these materials.
Policy for Protecting Privacy and Confidentiality of Participants’ Personal Information: EmPRO maintains a strict policy on protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all CME course participants.
